This is partly due to the new initiative of the <a href=\"https:\/\/youthnetworks.net\/2018\/11\/05\/erasmus-2019-marks-the-beginning-for-the-european-universities-project\/\">European Universities<\/a>, to be accomplished in the framework of the <a href=\"https:\/\/youthnetworks.net\/2018\/11\/13\/european-education-area-new-cooperations-to-be-accomplished-by-2020\/\">European Educational Area<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Eligibility<\/strong> and <strong>award criteria<\/strong> stayed the same. What&#8217;s new is an <strong>additional award criterion<\/strong>, that is the feasibility of the project in the targeted regions (see <a href=\"https:\/\/youthnetworks.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/c-2018-6572_en.pdf\">p. 58<\/a> of the programme).
