200 young people will meet in Copenhagen for the\nYoung Europe Youth Summit to discuss European key issues, this May.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Youth all over Europe is going to participate to the\nelections, next May. Among young people there is the largest share of\nnon-voters, although they will be the leader of the future. So, it is mostly on\nthis part of population, and on those that will vote for the first time, that\nit is important to work.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Young Europe Youth Summit<\/em><\/strong>, this May in Copenhagen<\/strong>, will give the opportunity to\nanalyse<\/strong>, discuss<\/strong> ideas and deepen knowledge with other 200 young Europeans<\/strong>. The main topics will be: culture, identity, migration, climate, international relationships and\nyouth<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How can the Young Europe Youth Summit help European youngsters?\nIt will collect young people and strengthen the voice of youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A full week in Denmark<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Young Europe Youth Summit will take place from May 6<\/strong>th<\/sup><\/strong> to May 12<\/strong>th<\/sup><\/strong> and will\nbe divided in two parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stay at a Danish Folk High School<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

During the first 4 days, participants will be in a folk high school,<\/strong>  a non-formal\nresidential school<\/em> with\napproximately 60-100 young people. In groups of 20 people, they will make\nactivities and workshops on the topic they chose. The method will be based both\non the presence of experts and the experience of participants. The aim is to\nchoose the<\/strong> visions and\nmessages to communicate to the European Parliament<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stay at the Youth Island in Copenhagen<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

During the last 3 days, activities will move on Youth Island<\/strong> in the Copenhagen Harbour, with other 200 young people. In these\ndays, the main focus will be communication, with training during which\nparticipants will learn how to communicate visions and how to make their voice heard in the public debate<\/strong>. The idea is also to give young people the means to inspire other young\npeople. During the press conference<\/strong> of Sunday,\nMay 12th<\/sup>, the messages\nand the visions will be communicated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
