{"id":2973,"date":"2021-04-16T11:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-04-16T09:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/youthnetworks.net\/?p=2973"},"modified":"2021-04-14T17:02:31","modified_gmt":"2021-04-14T15:02:31","slug":"call-for-a-digital-facilitator","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/youthnetworks.net\/call-for-a-digital-facilitator\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for a Facilitator and a Digital Facilitator"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">6 online information sessions <br>for the network of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salto-youth.net\/rc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SALTO-Youth Resource Centres<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>1st-24th June 2021<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The network of SALTO-Youth Resource Centres is developing a series of six online information sessions to present and discuss the network \u0301s work topics and strategies in connection to the 2021-2027 generation of the European youth programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are looking for a Facilitator and a Digital Facilitator to assist the Facilitator (whose call for happens through a separate advertising) with technical support. The work refers to the 6 online information sessions running from June 1st to June 26th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Online Information Sessions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Facilitator will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>highlight the relevant elements of the Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps programmes<\/li><li>present the mandate, work topics and strategies of the resource centres in connection to the<br>programmes<\/li><li>bring SALTO Resource Centres closer to the people we work for &amp; with.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Digital Facilitator will help out with technical support during the series, that aim to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>highlight the relevant elements of the Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps programmes;<\/li><li>present the mandate, work topics and strategies of the resource centres in connection to the programmes;<\/li><li>bring SALTO Resource Centres closer to the people we work for &amp; with.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each session lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. Following the full schedule of the events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Schedule<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>1st June 2021<\/td><td>2 pm (CET)<\/td><td>Youth participation \u2013 SALTO Participation &amp; Information<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>2nd June 2021<\/td><td>2 pm (CET)<\/td><td>Cooperation with the partner countries \u2013 SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucasus; SALTO Euromed &amp; SALTO Southeast Europe<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>10th June 2021 <\/td><td>2 pm (CET)<\/td><td>Youthpass &amp; recognition of non-formal and informal learning \u2013 SALTO Training &amp; Cooperation<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>15th June 2021<\/td><td>2 pm (CET)<\/td><td>Solidarity \u2013 European Solidarity Corps Resource Centre<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>17th June 2021<\/td><td>2 pm (CET)<\/td><td>Inclusion &amp; Diversity \u2013 SALTO Inclusion &amp; Diversity<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>24th June 2021<\/td><td>2 pm (CET)<\/td><td>European Training Strategy (ETS) \u2013 SALTO Training &amp; Cooperation<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the focus of each session will be on a particular working topic of a specific Resource Centre, complementing and connecting elements across the sessions (such as in visual elements, session design and flow) will be sought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though the sessions will be mainly<strong> informative, interactive elements should be incorporated in the design<\/strong> (such as collecting feedback of the participants, Q&amp;A, immediate reactions and comments on the topic, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tasks of the Facilitator<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The specific tasks of the facilitator will be to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Develop the concept and the content of the information sessions together with the team(s) (composed of representatives of the Resource Centres)*;<\/li><li>Implement the session;<\/li><li>Evaluate the sessions and write the report.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tasks of the Digital Facilitator<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The specific tasks of the digital facilitator will be to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Participate in the relevant preparation meetings with the team (composed of the facilitator and the representatives of the Resource Centres)*;<\/li><li>Supporting the preparation team by suggesting fitting digital tools for the session;<\/li><li>Management of the online platform for the event and other digital tools as relevant;<\/li><li>Management of social media live streaming (via Facebook);<\/li><li>Recording and editing the sessions, including adding intro &amp; outro slides, logos and presenter information (name &amp; role) to the video recordings;<\/li><li>Contribution to reporting (i.e. digital harvesting of chat history and digital tools).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>initial preparation work <\/strong>may include meetings with the representatives of all the centres. After reaching general agreements on the main ideas, elements and format of the series, a specific preparation work for each seminar will be done with the individual Resource Centres working on the specific topic. <strong>The preparation meetings will take place in May and June 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Facilitator Profile<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Knowledge and experience in designing international activities, according to non-formal<\/li><li>learning principles;<\/li><li>Experience in facilitating groups and discussions online, and the ability to develop engaging<\/li><li>online formats;<\/li><li>Knowledge of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes;<\/li><li>Knowledge of the working topics of the Resource Centres and experience in working with the<\/li><li>SALTO-Youth Resource Centres is an asset.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Digital Facilitator Profile<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Knowledge and experience in designing online activities, according to non-formal learning principles;<\/li><li>Experience in facilitating groups online;<\/li><li>Knowledge and experience with digital tools;<\/li><li>Knowledge of the working topics of the Resource Centres and experience in working with the SALTO-Youth Resource Centres is an asset.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Working Conditions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The facilitators will be contracted for 320\u20ac\/working days for 7 working days.<br>The facilitator will be working with a digital facilitator and a graphic recorder during the events.
