Curious about the participation opportunities of the European Union&#8217;s youth programmes? Wondering where and how to begin?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S.A.L.T.O. Youth has launched an <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.salto-youth.net\/tools\/european-training-calendar\/training\/spotlight-on-salto.9299\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">online learning session<\/a><\/strong> that ran from 1st to 24th June 2021. Six stand-alone online information sessions to present different opportunities and priorities of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps 2021-2027. And also to share SALTO-Youth Resource Centres&#8217; strategic actions and offers to support quality in the programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Young people participation, as a process, can happen&nbsp;anywhere&nbsp;and&nbsp;everywhere. For example, it can happen either&nbsp;at home or online, in formal or non-formal settings, on an individual basis or as a group. <strong>Youth participation is an important concept for young people, adults and the society<\/strong>. The reasons being in terms of empowerment, respect of human rights, efficiency and people&#8217;s development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Think Tank on Youth Participation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have missed the online learning session, S.A.L.T.O. Youth provides an always-available source for learning on young people participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.salto-youth.net\/rc\/participation\/thinktank\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Think Tank<\/a><\/strong> was established by SALTO PI in 2018. Its purpose is to&nbsp;<strong>define challenges around y<\/strong>oung people participation, to <strong>propose priorities<\/strong>, to <strong>co-create solutions and synergies among stakeholders<\/strong>, considering the cross-sectoral dimension. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Think Tank&#8217;s work contributes in developing new or additional&nbsp;expertise for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>the National Agencies of Erasmus+\/European Solidarity Corps;<\/li><li>youth workers;<\/li><li>youth organisations and young people;<\/li><li>key stakeholders involved in European youth programmes, such as the European Commission and the Youth Partnership.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Think Tank meets regularly on the basis of projects and needs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How To Find Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The resources, materials and information about young people participation are available on the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/participationpool.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Participation Pool<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to keep yourself up-to-date on the latest news and trends about young people participation keep an eye on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SALTOparticipation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">S.A.L.T.O.
