{"id":3357,"date":"2022-01-31T17:13:27","date_gmt":"2022-01-31T16:13:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/youthnetworks.net\/?p=3357"},"modified":"2022-01-31T17:14:12","modified_gmt":"2022-01-31T16:14:12","slug":"erasmus-youth-project-writing-challenge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/youthnetworks.net\/erasmus-youth-project-writing-challenge\/","title":{"rendered":"Erasmus+ Youth Project Writing Challenge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An <strong>Erasmus Plus Youth Project Writing Challenge<\/strong> is running on the week February 15th-22nd 2022, fully online.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the training is to help you easily write your first Erasmus+ Youth KA1 project and submit it for European funding, with the supervision of experts that guide you in the process.<\/p>\n<h3>Erasmus Plus Youth Project Writing Challenge<\/h3>\n<p>The challenge itself consists of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Daily videos<\/strong>: a short daily explanation video in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/erasmusplusacademy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Erasmus+ Youth Academy<\/strong><\/a> Facebook community at 18.00 CET from 1st to 14th February 2022;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Home tasks<\/strong>: every day, after each video, you will receive a small home task. You need around 30 minutes to complete it, and at the end of the challenge, you have a fully developed project idea ready for submission upon the next deadline;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Supportive community<\/strong>: no need to do it alone. In the Erasmus+ Youth Academy you complete the challenge day-by-day with other participants (or your own team), as well as share your successes and ask questions to challenge facilitators;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mentorship session and feedback<\/strong>: complimentary mentorship sessions will be available to get feedback on project applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>The Schedule<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Day 0<\/strong> | <strong>Motivation and preparation<\/strong>: Why do you want to carry out KA1 mobility? Organisation registration and OID. Drafting PIF both for your project and future partners.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 1<\/strong> | <strong>Intro into Erasmus+ Youth KA1<\/strong>: Principles and priorities of Erasmus+ (2021-2027).<br \/>\nProject formats. Difference between youth exchanges and professional development activities.\u00a0Tips on how to read the Guide.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 2<\/strong> | <strong>Finding the problem<\/strong>: How to find the problem and check its relevance to Erasmus+. Reasoning your choice in the application form. Statistics and European Strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 3<\/strong> | <strong>Needs&#8217; analysis<\/strong>: Define the target audience of your project &#8211; future participants. What are their needs, fears and desires? Ways to conduct needs&#8217; analysis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 4<\/strong> | <strong>Project concept developmen<\/strong>t: Project development tool &#8211; Circle of creativity. Making a reality check and defining the vision, goal (6W) and objectives of your project. Relation to Erasmus+ and European Strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 5<\/strong> | <strong>Participants&#8217; profile<\/strong>: What&#8217;s the profile of your participants? (their background, age, life experiences, needs and issues, do they face fewer opportunities). How will they be included in the project? Participation ladder of Roger Hart.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 6<\/strong> | <strong>Team and Partners<\/strong>: Who is in your team and what are their strong sides? How to search for partners? First email and basic project info. Partners&#8217; agreements based on the project lifecycle and means of communication.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 7<\/strong> | <strong>Practical arrangements<\/strong>: Logistics &amp; practicalities: whose responsibility is this? Timeline of project preparation, implementation and follow-up. Common mistakes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 8<\/strong> | <strong>Preparation of participants and learning outcomes<\/strong>: Different types of preparation. Special preparation of participants with fewer opportunities. Introduction to Youthpass and key competencies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 9<\/strong> | <strong>Activity program<\/strong>: Intro into informal and non-formal learning methods. How to develop a well-balanced program? Tips&amp;Tricks on designing activity program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 10<\/strong> | <strong>Project outcomes and their dissemination<\/strong>: Tangible and intangible results. Examples of good dissemination strategies. Dissemination of the outcomes and project visibility tips.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 11<\/strong> | <strong>Expected impact<\/strong>: Impact on direct and indirect beneficiaries, as well as local, national and European levels. Ways to measure impact. Checking coherence with Erasmus+ KA1 expected impact.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 12<\/strong> | <strong>Project monitoring and evaluation<\/strong>: Risk assessment: what can go wrong in the project and ways to predict and prevent risks. Developing a project monitoring plan. Designing criteria of project success.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 13<\/strong> | <strong>Final project check-up<\/strong>: How to quickly check project coherence and clarity. Common mistakes.<br \/>\nChecklist based on project assessment criteria.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Day 14<\/strong> | <strong>Application form<\/strong>: How to fill in the electronic form: sections and questions. Budget and annexes.
