To make youth participation a concrete outcome, governments can move in two directions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On one hand, <\/span><b>providing young people with the necessary information<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, resources, and support to enable them to participate in the democratic process. Alternatively, <\/span><b>governments can also create opportunities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for young people to get involved in decision-making processes at the local, national, and international levels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Governments are not the only ones having a key-role in this context: <strong>civil society organizations<\/strong>, like <\/span><b>youth organizations and NGOs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, also have an important role to play in promoting youth participation in democracy.
