The EQF is a standard reference framework for lifelong learning that acts as a translation tool to better comprehend and compare <strong>national qualifications<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>The EQF for Lifelong Learning<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <strong>European Qualifications Framework <\/strong> is divided into<\/span><b> eight levels<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which are represented as learning outcomes with increasing degrees of competency. Countries connect their national qualification systems to the EQF levels, making it easier to comprehend what a qualification achieved in another country represents.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>This public consultation will help to evaluate the EQF by learning:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">how the EQF has been <\/span><b>utilised<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">what its <\/span><b>advantages<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">how it might be <\/span><b>improved<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Workers, learners, employers, and stakeholders from education and training, employment, and civil society can participate in the public consultation.
