Introduction<\/b><\/h2>\n

The increasing focus on<\/span> environmental sustainability<\/b> in the <\/span>Erasmus+ Programme<\/b> <\/a>brings attention to the challenges faced by <\/span>young people with fewer opportunities (YPWFO).<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Seminar <\/span>Green Inclusion<\/b><\/a> aimed to explore the intersection of environmental sustainability and inclusion for YPWFO. Hosted by <\/span>SALTO Inclusion & Diversity<\/b><\/a>, the Netherlands Youth Institute, BIj and Jugend f\u00fcr Europa<\/b>, the seminar aimed to start discussions on the meaning of Green Inclusion and find common ground between the two European horizontal priorities.<\/span><\/p>\n

About the report<\/b><\/h2>\n

The “<\/span>Green Inclusion<\/b>” report presents a collection of inputs gathered during the seminar held in <\/span>Amersfoort, Netherlands, from 15 to 18 November 2022.<\/b> The report aims to spread the discussions, recommendations, and outputs to a wider audience, promoting research, training, networking, political advocacy, and more projects for young people.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The seminar had <\/span>36 participants from 11 countries<\/b> and focused on <\/span>understanding the struggles of YPWFO<\/b> and the barriers they experience in participating in green projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

The report is structured in<\/span> eight sections<\/b>, each focusing on a <\/span>specific aspect<\/b>. <\/span>You can read each section independently. <\/span>The document offers solutions for organisations and projects to create further activity, strategy, and development.<\/span><\/p>\n
