The Training Course \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.salto-youth.net\/tools\/european-training-calendar\/training\/international-project-lab-new-power-in-youth.11147\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>New Power in Youth<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d offers a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and skills to initiate projects focused on <\/span><b>youth participation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This partnership-building activity will take place from<\/span><b> 19-24 June 2023 in Bucharest, Romania<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and consists of online sessions and a residential event. The <\/span><b>application deadline for applications is 28 April<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. If you want to know more about the project, keep reading!<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Objectives and Programme<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Training Course \u201cNew Power in Youth\u201d aims to support the quality development of <\/span><b><a href=\"https:\/\/erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu\/it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Erasmus+<\/a> (E+)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/youth.europa.eu\/solidarity\/mission_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>European Solidarity Corps (ESC)<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> projects focused on youth participation. Participants will learn about the possibilities within E+, namely <\/span><b>Youth Exchanges<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and<\/span><b> Youth Participation Activities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, as well as ESC local projects. They will also explore citizenship in the European context and strengthen their understanding of participatory approaches.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The programme of activities includes:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Two online sessions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (2 hours each) organised between May and June 2023;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participation in the <\/span><b>residential event<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Bucharest);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participation in<\/span><b> one online follow-up session<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, after the residential event;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Three hours of mentoring <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for developing the project idea, after the residential event;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Thematic inputs and nonformal learning activities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on the topic of youth participation, citizenship in the European context, participatory activities, and the possibilities within the E+ &amp; ESC Programmes;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Spaces to share and exchange<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> about the themes and topics identified at the local level and find commonalities between them;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spaces for<\/span><b> partner-finding and project development<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> within E+\/ESC;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Who Should Participate?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project lab is <\/span><b>ideal for youth leaders and youth workers aged 18-35<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> who are interested in <\/span><b>developing Erasmus+ or European Solidarity Corps projects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> focused on youth participation. They should have experience in <\/span><b>managing projects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and be able to communicate effectively in English. Priority is given to participants from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Romania, Slovenia, and<\/span><b> SALTO SEE countries<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, but others are welcome to apply. Only one participant from the same organisation or informal group can attend.
