Are you interested in enhancing your diversity management skills and anti-racist behaviours? Join the <\/span>“How to be an Antiracist” training course in Malta on 4-9 September 2023<\/b><\/a>. This training course aims to strengthen anti-racist and anti-discriminatory behaviours and practices among youth professionals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Objectives of the training<\/b><\/h2>\n

The objectives of the training course include <\/span>gaining a better understanding of what racism is<\/b>, reflecting on our <\/span>own biases <\/b>and organisational practices, and exchanging strategies, methods, and resources for <\/span>combating racism and discrimination<\/b>. Participants will also learn to apply these tools and strategies to <\/span>Erasmus+<\/b><\/a> Youth in Action & European Solidarity Corps projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what you need to know about the training course:<\/span><\/p>\n

– There will be <\/span>25 professionals<\/b> working directly with <\/span>young people<\/b> on a regular basis, including youth workers, youth leaders, teachers, coaches, social and health workers, and employment officers;<\/span><\/p>\n

– Participants who work with <\/span>young racialised people and\/or migrant backgrounds<\/b> will be given priority;<\/span><\/p>\n

–<\/span> Participants should be interested in <\/span>developing their diversity management skills <\/b>and anti-racist behaviours, and motivated to develop international projects addressing (anti)racism as well;<\/span><\/p>\n

– The seminar is co-organized by <\/span>SALTO Inclusion & Diversity<\/b><\/a> and the <\/span>Maltese National Agency<\/b> for the E+ program.<\/span><\/p>\n

The participating NAs of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme are financing this project. Before applying please contact the <\/span>NA of your residence country<\/a><\/strong> to check if it is involved in this concrete project and committed to cover travel costs. About the <\/span>travel reimbursement<\/strong>, i<\/span>n case you are selected, the sending costs for participants will be reimbursed by the sending NAs or SALTO.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
