{"id":4216,"date":"2023-08-04T20:39:04","date_gmt":"2023-08-04T18:39:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/youthnetworks.net\/?p=4216"},"modified":"2023-08-04T20:39:04","modified_gmt":"2023-08-04T18:39:04","slug":"how-to-write-a-successful-youthpass-the-handbook","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/youthnetworks.net\/how-to-write-a-successful-youthpass-the-handbook\/","title":{"rendered":"How to write a successful YouthPass | The Handbook"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>Introduction<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>If you are wondering how to effectively <strong>show the skills acquired during your non-formal education projects<\/strong> and <strong>activities<\/strong> and make them stand out in the <strong>YouthPass<\/strong>, keep reading: we have what you need!<\/p>\n<p>Discover &#8220;<strong>Valued by You, Valued by Others<\/strong>&#8220;, the handbook written by <strong>Anita Silva, Darko Markovic and Paul Kloosterman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This is a publication of the <strong>SALTO Training and Cooperation<\/strong>, published in cooperation with <strong>JUGEND f\u00fcr Europa<\/strong>, <strong>the German National Agency<\/strong> <strong>for Youth in Action and European Solidarity Corps<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The aim of the handbook<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This guide aims to <strong>present the skills acquired by participants<\/strong> during youth mobility projects and <strong>make them stand out within the YouthPass<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>Valued by You, Valued by Others<\/strong>&#8221; offers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An insights on how to support <strong>learning reflection<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Some <strong>useful tools<\/strong> for documenting learning outcomes with Youthpass<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The process of writing this tool is in fact already a useful <strong>educational process on its own<\/strong>. However, often the <strong>YouthPass can also be a useful tool in job search or in other contexts of formal education<\/strong> where is required a demonstration of the acquired skills.<\/p>\n<p>Through this handbook, <strong>the authors will be explaining the most effective techniques when having to present the acquired competences to others<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The guide<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div class=\"training-description running-text wysiwyg mrgn-btm-33\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>It is possible to download the guide in pdf format for free.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The document is in English and consists of <strong>120 pages<\/strong>, but it is also possible to download the <strong>individual chapters<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Chapter 1: <a class=\" download-helper wfd-filetype-pdf\" title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youthpass.eu\/downloads\/13-62-386\/ValuedByYouValuedByOthers-chap1.pdf\">Why This Handbook?
