{"id":4230,"date":"2023-08-18T14:00:47","date_gmt":"2023-08-18T12:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/youthnetworks.net\/?p=4230"},"modified":"2023-08-18T14:00:47","modified_gmt":"2023-08-18T12:00:47","slug":"visit-euroskills-2023-eu-competition-of-young-professionals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/youthnetworks.net\/visit-euroskills-2023-eu-competition-of-young-professionals\/","title":{"rendered":"Visit EuroSkills 2023 | EU Competition of Young Professionals"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>Introduction<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Are you a <strong>young professional<\/strong> and want to get in touch with <strong>other young people from all over Europe<\/strong>?<\/p>\n<p>Discover how to join as a visitor the <strong>EuroSkills Gda\u0144sk 2023<\/strong>, <strong>the European Championship of Young Professionals<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>The competition will take place in <strong>Gda\u0144sk, Poland from 5 to 9 September:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Opening Ceremony will be held on <strong>5 September<\/strong> at <strong>Polsat Plus Arena Gda\u0144sk<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The Competition will run for three days, from <strong>6 to 8 September at AMBEREXPO Gda\u0144sk<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<li>The Closing Ceremony will be held on <strong>9 September<\/strong> at <strong>Polsat Plus Arena Gda\u0144sk<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>The Competition<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>EuroSkills Gda\u0144sk 2023 is the <strong>biggest vocational education and skills excellence event in Europe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the competition is to <strong>bring together hundreds of young professionals from countries across Europe<\/strong> to compete for the chance to become the Best in Europe in their chosen skill.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Visitors will be able to watch the competitors in action and have the opportunity to try hands-on job-related skills<\/strong> at the many \u2018Try-a-Skill\u2019 demonstrations.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The competition will welcome <strong>over 600 young professionals<\/strong> <strong>under the age of 25<\/strong> from all over Europe to participate in <strong>43 official skill competitions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>There are <strong>six industry sectors<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Transportation and Logistics<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Service Industry<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Host Presentation Skills<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Construction and Building Technology<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Creative Arts and Fashion<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Information and Communication Technology<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Manufacturing and Engineering Technology<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The participants in the competition will represent<strong>\u00a0the best of their peers nationally<\/strong> and are <strong>selected after taking part in national competitions<\/strong> held in WorldSkills Europe Member countries.<\/p>\n<p>At EuroSkills, <strong>competitors must demonstrate technical abilities<\/strong> and they have to complete series of projects <strong>within strict time frames over the course of three days<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How to participate<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Even though it is no longer possible to take part in the competition itself, <strong>you can join as a visitor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>To join as a visitor you have to <a href=\"https:\/\/start.frse.org.pl\/rejestracja-widz\"><strong>register in the official web site<\/strong><\/a>.
