It is a <strong>space for young people<\/strong> to have an<strong> influence<\/strong> on the EU\u2019s external action through its international partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>Serving as an advisor to the Directorate-General for International Partnerships and Commissioner Jutta Urpilainen, the Board works to improve the <strong>effectiveness, relevance, and participation of EU activity for youth<\/strong> in partner countries across all political agendas.<\/p>\n<p>The goal of the Youth Sounding Board is to bring about a <strong>significant, long-lasting shift in the way the EU interacts with youth<\/strong> in the context of its development cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>Contributing to the Youth Action Plan for EU External Action was one of the Board members&#8217; initial tasks.
